Pro Tools is a digital audio workstation used for audio post-production, music recording in studios or on concerts. It has became de facto an industry standard used in thousands of studios worldwide. Pro Tools can run as standalone software, or operate using a range of external A/D, D/A or D/D converters and internal audio cards with onboard Digital signal processor (DSP).
